Wondering how to go about with choosing your engineering or medical college seats online? Here’s help. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has taken the processes of Common Entrance Test (CET) 2012 online-allotment and selection of seats for under-graduate professional courses is done through its website this year. Verification of documents got under way on June 25, when the candidates received a set of DVD and user manual that would guide the students through the online seat-selection process. Along with that, students get their unique codes through which they can choose seats.
Now, you have the option to train yourself. KEA is allowing students to do a mock selection of seats-that will help the students to practise the online method and attain perfection. You can train your hands by entering your CET application number, details of which are given in the KEA website.
The actual seat-selection, however, will begin on July 12 and will be on till July 18. When you visit the KEA website for it, you will be using the unique code given to you to enter your options. You can select seats in all colleges, and later, the system will provide information about the availability of seats. After that, you can confirm a seat of your choice. After the confirmation, candidates will receive intimation for payment of fee and will have to report to the college.
