CHOICES FOR ADMISSION ROUND
Following are the Choices before a candidate after Admission Round.
Choice 1
I am satisfied with the allotted seat and am willing to report to the allotted college. Hence I am not going to participate in any further rounds of option entry and I am not interested to be considered for any further allotment of seats in any subsequent round for any discipline. Even if I surrender the seat back, I will not be eligible to participate and key in options in any of the subsequent rounds. I will pay the prescribed fees by DD in the Helpline Centre after downloading and printing the allotment details. After reporting to the college, I will immediately upload my college reporting details on the Option Entry Website through my Log-in Account. I understand that if I do not do so within the last date and time, the seat will be cancelled and will automatically revert back to the seat matrix irrespective of the fact that I may have physically reported to the college.
I agree to the above terms and conditions, I do hereby confirm my acceptance of Choice-1 Option.
Implication of opting for Choice 1: Not eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds at all.
Choice 2
I am satisfied with the allotted seat, however, I wish to participate in the next round for improvement. If one of my new options gets allotted, then my Admission Round allotted seat gets cancelled automatically and will be added to the seat matrix as a consequential vacancy. But, if any fresh option seat is not allotted then the Admission Round seat shall remain in my favour.
I agree to the above terms and conditions, I do hereby confirm my acceptance of Choice-2 Option.
Implication of this Choice 2: Eligible to participate in the subsequent round keeping the seat allotted on hold. However, if a seat in the fresh options gets allotted the candidate loses his old seat. There is no choice between the seats.
Choice 3
I am not satisfied with the allotted seat and wish to participate in the next round with fresh options by surrendering the allotted seat. I know that it is my responsibility to key in the options in the next round as per schedule announced by KEA. In case I fail to do so, I alone shall be responsible for the consequences.
I agree to the above terms and conditions, I do hereby confirm my acceptance of Choice-3 Option.
Implication: Eligible to participate in the subsequent round with fresh options and no hold on allotted seat.
Choice 4
I have better opportunity outside CET-KEA. Hence I am surrendering the allotted seat and shall not participate in any future rounds. I need not be considered for any further communication from KEA.
I agree to the above terms and conditions, I do hereby confirm my acceptance of Choice-4 Option.
Implication: Not eligible to participate in the subsequent round no hold on the allotted seat and seat allotted earlier will get cancelled.
Choice5
If a candidate fails to exercise any of the above 4 choices within the stipulated date and time (26-07-2012 to 30-07-2012) then the seat allotted to such candidate stands cancelled automatically without any further notice in this regard and who will not be allowed to participate in further rounds.
It is the endeavor of the Government that no seat should mis-utilized as all seats under Government quota are subsidized for the meritorious students.
The candidates who exercise choice number 2 and 3 are eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds.
The entry rank and cutoff ranks are also hosted on the KEA website for the information of the candidates.
